Projects include working Adrian Partington, Philip Wilby and Ian Macmillan on the world premier of 'The Shoemaker and the King' performed at Leicester Cathedral, a composition project with Viva Sinfonia performed at De Montfort Hall, Yamaha Class Band and 'Castle Rock’s Musical Extravaganza!’ enabling primary school students to take part in an instrumental workshop and concert. • Responsible for 'Music Maestros' - an initiative which gives students the opportunity to learn a musical instrument through weekly workshops with Leicestershire Schools Music service. Students are also able to take the instruments home and have the opportunity to work with professional conductor, Richard Laing. Currently a finalist for 'Best Musical Initiative' in the 'Music Teacher Awards for Excellence' • Established strong links with Primary schools, which include various concert opportunities, and responsibility for running North West Voices; a choir for all students aged between 9-14 in North West Leicestershire. Providing various performance opportunities including with The Curve Theatre, Young Voices, Hermitage FM Radio Station and Coaville Food and Drink Festival. • Deliver full GCSE Music to Year 8 and 9.• Completed Middle Leaders Development Course.
