      My current role is working as a Consulting Systems Engineer with the Collaboration Commercial Team, specialising in telepresence and video within Cisco collaboration. This includes end customer meetings and demonstrations with a sales specialist, investigating their business needs and drivers and positioning elements of our total solution to meet those requirements. I endeavour to provide a high level understanding of our products to allow key decision makers within organisations to reach informed decisions and to be confident in our technology both now and in the future. This invariably leads to higher value sales and customer retention. I provide ad hoc product training on the entire Telepresence Product Portfolio to Sales and Presales personnel both at Partners and within Cisco. This role requires a great deal of contact with Partners, fielding presales questions and helping to identify suitable solutions. I have created and delivered training lectures to internal Systems Engineers at conferences across Europe and also taken this same material on Partner roadshows across the UK. Prior to the acquisition by Cisco, my previous roles at TANDBERG as a Product and Sales Support Manager have involved: Promoting the role of Presales engineers within the Partner community. Encouraging the use of services as a tool to increase customer satisfaction and retention.Ensuring that internal sales and Partner sales are given the best support with the product portfolio.Troubleshooting customer issues.I was closely involved with TANDBERG University in developing the first Solutions Architect course (TCSA) and wrote a number of case studies used .
