  As site engineer, I was engaged in the following works related to arrangement of construction power supply to various project sites: 1. Construction of 30km of 33kV transmission lines connecting 66/33kV, 2*10/12.5MVA LILO Sub-station to 2 nos. 33/11kV, 2*5/6.3MVA Sub-stations at Dam and Power House site. - Line route survey, erection of poles, stringing of conductors, testing and commissioning of the lines.2. Installation and testing of distribution transformers.3. Construction of 2*10/12.5MVA LILO Sub-station and 2 nos. 33/11kV, 2*5/6.3MVA Sub-stations at Dam and Power House site. - Supervising and monitoring the progress of construction works of the above mentioned Sub- stations. - Conducted Inspection and quality check of structures and various Sub-station equipment at manufacturer's works and at site for quality and workmanship. - Erection and testing of the various Sub-station equipment at site. - Commissioning and billing works of the above mentioned Sub-stations of the project. I was assigned as Shift In-charge; responsible for operation of 2*5/6.3MVA, 33/11kV Sub-station at Dam site, which is meant for catering the construction power supply requirements in Punatsangchhu-I Hydropower plant (1200MW) - the largest in Bhutan and a joint-venture of Royal Government of Bhutan and Government of India.a. Monitoring operation and maintenance activities of the Sub-station with a team of 8 operators in shift system.b. Assessed team proficiencies, identifying and targeting areas for improvement.c. Prepared Daily Operation Report, Monthly Operation Report and Periodic load forecast.d. Troubleshooting and diagnoses of problems related to Sub-station equipments.e. Collaborated closely with Assistant Executive Engineer (Electrical) to identify areas of concern and most effective methods for remediation of faults. Show less
