  Covéa Insurance provides insurance for customers via insurance brokers, intermediaries, affinity partners and direct distribution channels. * Responsibilities: I manage the branch operations of the New and Existing Business UW team within Commercial Mid-market, working closely with our brokers to write profitable property and casualty business. My role consists of managing our SLA’s with our broker customers and our internal KPI’s for turnaround of quotes. My team work closely with sales to support the management of their broker panels and account performance via regular broker meetings. This also supports the and pipelining of future business a develop our accounts. I additionally work closely with our Portfolio UW Manager and my Seniors UW’s to ensure the team operate with good underwriting governance, their license authorisation and provide quality referrals. A key passion of mine is supporting the development of my team through a framework of 1-2-1’s, structured objectives, and growth plans to support their careers. I enjoy managing performance-based cultures and encourage a collaborative but competitive atmosphere on writing GWP and meeting loss ratio, rate and retention targets. I take personal responsibility for engagement and culture in the wider function and have implemented process improvement to continually push our USP of providing market leading service to our broker customers.
