Administered the FTA compliant quality program including all quality control and assurance activities. Managed a team of inspectors and technicians to verify and document the quality of the work, identify and resolve issues, and document compliance with all federal, state, and agency quality regulations.Lukeville Border Fence - Project Value: $23M, Design BuildDesign and Construction of 5.2 mi section of border fence along the border of Arizona and Mexico in Lukeville Arizona. Developed and implemented the quality program to meet US Army Corps of Engineers standards. Performed and supervised daily quality activities including inspection, testing, and reporting as well as oversight of all safety and environmental compliance activities. This project was recognized as the first project in Kiewit’s history to receive an all outstanding performance rating on the CCASS performance evaluation system.Valley Metro Light Rail, Line Section 1 - Project Value: $72M, General ContractorConstructed within a fast-tracked schedule, this 2.27-mile-long light rail segment passes through busy urban areas central Phoenix. Work involved road reconstruction, underground utilities, platform foundations for three stations, and an embedded double-track concrete guideway. Responsible for administering the project quality program to ensure first quality work and minimize rework. I monitored, reported, and remedied any project quality issues, as well as promoted, tracked, and managed the project quality plan.
