  • About me

Nuclear engineering graduate student and researcher with background in nuclear engineering and plasma physics.

  • Education

    • NorthWood High School

      2012 - 2016
      High School 4.0

Activities and Societies: Marching band, pep band, jazz band, concert band (saxophone), chess club, Indiana academic super bowl teams - math, science, interdisciplinary I exceeded the limits of my school's college preparation, teaching myself the material for AP Calculus 2, Statistics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Physics B. I passed all five exams, earning an additional semester's worth of college credit.

    • Purdue University

      2014 - 2018
      Bachelor’s Degree Nuclear Engineering 3.95

Activities and Societies: Purdue Society of Professional Engineers - Secretary (1 yr), Vice President (1 yr) American Nuclear Society - Secretary (1 yr), Vice President (1 yr) Purdue Student Sustainability Council I augmented my nuclear education by taking classes up to the graduate level along the breadth of physics (modern, quantum, and statistical mechanics, and electromagnetics). I also contributed to eleven scientific projects, three as first author and eight as second author divided among papers, conference oral presentations, and posters. • Purdue University - The Graduate School

      2018 - 2022
Doctor of Philosophy - PhD Nuclear Engineering 4.0

I chose to remain at Purdue, having fostered a sense of home here. I received the honor of the Purdue Doctoral Fellowship, and am continuing my research in plasma physics with the BioElectrics and ElectroPhysics (BEEP) Lab under the inspired mentorship of Dr. Allen Garner.

  • Experience

    • OSHA Safety Expert Inc.

      Jun 2013 - Jun 2017
      Research Associate

I gained legal experience, researching local, state, and federal laws, including OSHA and ANSI regulations. I reviewed technical reports, proofreading them for consistency to appropriate standards and for professional style.
