Not only does he lead with inclusivity for all programs and people, he does it with a lot of heart. He believes in what he does, he shares it with others, and brings others to understanding of the benefits of wellness initiatives. Recently, Darrick let a mindfulness moment exercise in the GXVOE session (the second time he has done this), taking time from his calendar to lead the group through a breathing exercise. These few minutes made a big difference in the meeting, as we were more calm, centered, and ready for discussion.
