  The Institute for Land and Environmental Art (ILEA) is an art, research and educational organization with the aim of greater commitment to the environment through the means of art. Over the years ILEA has become a competence center in the field of art & ecology and a think & do tank for socio-ecological transformation through art and culture.The Institute was founded in 2016, and since then it has been continuously producing and presenting exhibitions, research projects, publications, art and creative projects and has been organizing workshops, talks, symposia and residencies. ILEA projects often position themselves in the field between nature and culture, art and public sphere and the landscape as an expression of our culture and our time. The Institute cooperates with a large number of partners, institutions, creative minds, scholars and more-than-human beings in transdisciplinary constellations.From 2016 – 2024 ILEA organized the five editions of the outdoor biennial ART SAFIENTAL and the international summer school ALPS ART ACADEMY.
