  CABB has a custom manufacturing chemical plant located in Kokkola, Finland. The plant was undergoing an automation system overhaul where i was creating HMI interfaces and programming work.

  As an Engine Automation Technical Superintendent, I was one of the professionals who are the end of the line technical experts of the Wärtsilä Engine Control System. My responsibilities included hardware product improvement in collaboration with R&D, issue identification through failure rate analysis and 8D process, support for delivery projects, I also delivered internal improvements, for example a new database system. My responsibility as Service Engineer was mostly the supervision and commissioning of the automation system of Wärtsilä diesel and gas-powered power plants at various locations around the world. I usually arrived on site at the time cable pulling started and left after successful handover of the plant which included training of end customer operators. I completed 5 projects which took between 1,5 – 8 months per project.

As the Manufacturing Engineer of the site, I had the responsibility to provide a repeatable manufacturing process & capability that met the design intent and customer requirements of the products in a cost effective manner throughout the internal & external supply chain.
