I facilitated and enhanced the parent-child interactions in-home, through activities and early childhood development information. Additionally, I encouraged parents and caregivers in identifying what needs and concerns they may have about a diverse spectrum of topics-- from family safety, employment, domestic concord, intrapersonal skill-building, medical care access, and more. Through the use of such tools as the PHQ9 form and the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ & ASQ-SE), I also aided children and families in gaining community support for mental health and early intervention. In this role, I identified and referred families to our therapeutic Relief Nursery for additional support when appropriate and coordinate community-based play groups.
