  Within this customer-facing role my time was spent promoting and recommending products on offer and communicating these to the customer. There was also a key emphasis on marketing products and services to local car dealerships and bodyshops. Other main duties included handling phone calls, writing rental contracts, arranging the cleaning and collection/delivery of hire cars and chasing invoices. This experience gave me an excellent understanding of the sales process and how each customer is motivated by a unique demand. I also developed good team-working skills, creating strong working relationships in a challenging working environment. The use of two internal software systems also helped further develop my I.C.T skills. Show less

  Undertaken as a year-long graduate development scheme. A team-based role working in tandem with an Assignment Manager and other colleagues to secure the successful delivery of programme products on time, to budget and of sufficient quality.I developed a thorough overview of the skillset required to become an accomplished project manager, from creating a product breakdown structure to engaging key stakeholders. I also developed an understanding of the governance procedures used to mitigate the impacts of project risks, issues and dependencies.   Time spent completing placements across all departments of the business. This has included a number of leadership experiences, ranging from short spells lasting only a few months to periods of a year and beyond. Each experience has presented its own challenges but overall this varied and ever-changing landscape has helped grow my understanding of what it takes to successfully lead and manage a team. Maternity-cover secondment where I was given the opportunity to utilise my experience of working in the operational 'hub' of the business to develop and implement communication strategies to boost employee engagement across the business.
