    • Brian H. Abrams, DPM, Podiatric Medicine Practice

      Mar 1996 - now
      Podiatric Physician

As a solo practitioner of podiatric medicine, I was responsible for ALL aspects of my practice. My main direct function was providing total medical care for my patients including diagnosis and treatment of their medical problems. In addition to providing medical care I am a firm believer in patient education. I would always explain in detail what their condition was, why they had it, what the treatment plan would be and why that treatment plan was the right one for them. This often would require that I translate very complicated medical jargon including Biomechanics, Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, and Biochemistry into terms they can easily understand. Show less
