I work with athletes across various sports such as Football, Ice Hockey, and Golf. During my training pathway, I have collaborated with sporting organisations such as HelpForHeroes to provide sport psychology workshops and webinars to high performance athletes, in collaboration with ex-olympic athletes.As I progress through my training, I am continually developing my ability to understand, diagnose, and prevent various psychological, cognitive, emotional, behavioural, and psychophysical inhibitors of consistent excellent performance and well-being in sport and workplace settings.       This role involves contributing to the provision of teaching for the MSc Research Development & Practice module, the BSc Preparing Research, Innovation or Enterprise Projects module, as well as the BSc Sport & Exercise Psychology course at the University of Portsmouth. Duties and responsibilities include effective delivery and development of sport and exercise psychology (as well as generic sport science) lectures/ workshops focused on topics such as "qualitative and quantitative research methods", "thematic analysis", “group dynamics”, "leadership", and “body image & exercise”, as well as marking student lab reports, assignments, and poster presentations. Responsibilities have extended to utilising my own applied practitioner experiences to deliver (and co-deliver) lectures, workshops, Q&A's, tutorials, and seminars throughout the BPS accredited undergraduate “introduction to sport & exercise psychology” and "psychology of sport & exercise" modules, as well during MSc Research Development and Practice modules.       Academy Trainee Sport and Exercise Psychologist

      At Aldershot Town FC's Academy, I worked with academy players (U23's - U16's) and staff, providing sport psychology services and working within a multi-disciplinary sport science team. Predominantly working with the U23 squad playing in the Suburban Football League. As part of my role, I delivered group and individual psychological support to members across the Academy, alongside providing psychoeducation through workshops. I attended weekly home matches with the U23 squad to observe them in competition and help inform my practice. Throughout my time in this role, I was able to actively develop and reflect on my approach to sport psychology, as well as how I conduct my work. Through collaboration with other members of the sport science team, we were able to develop informed plans to support members' psychological well-being and performance. Overall, my experiences have helped me to become a better practitioner. Show less
