  Synthesis of derivatives of camphor, which have anticancer and antimicrobial properties :-Preparation of precursors such as camphorquinone and ligands in order to obtain Cu(II) and Ag(I) complexes.-Characterization of these complexes.-Biological assays were made on fungi and bacteria in collaboration with the biological labs of the Institute. Results showed that some complexes have the ability to eradicate a population of fungi. Further research will be done on that subject.
