Its dual mission is to:1 - provide families with diagnosed Developmental Delay with recreation and respite and,2 - provide high school students with opportunity to interact with Developmental Adults.

In my opinion, The Dept of Secondary and Middle School Education is one of the best kept secrets in the state of New Jersey. As an adjunct at the College of Education, I have first hand knowledge of several outstanding and passionate educators. As an adjunct, I can attest to the rigor of the curriculae and the pace that students navigate as they work towards teaching certification in the state of NJ. Show less

Fostering a positive school climate conducive to high academic achievement. Oversight of the School-wide Improvement Plan:1 - increase the attendance and graduation rate and2 - increase Language Arts and Math proficiency of the student test scores.In summary, provide guidance and support for optimized classroom instruction and learning for college and career readiness, leading to overall school success. Facilitated the mission of the Social Studies Department of Eastside High School in the Paterson school district and facilitate the Social Studies Curriculum and the Common Core Standards. Directly supervised teachers, which included: Reviewing lesson plans, training of pedagogical Best Practices, ensuring rigorous planning and instruction takes place, scheduling courses, ordering supplies, maintaining a cohesive group dynamic, ensuring bi-lingual education is practiced with fidelity. Created District High School Debate Tournament and History Fairs, which are now an integral part of the school culture and which annually occur. In my opinion, there is no greter responsibility or honor than to be part of a group that trains teachers for the next generation.
