  Patricia Vassallo is President and CEO of Safe Space Ingenuity, Inc (SSI). SSI was founded to meet the ever growing need to maintain safe walkway surfaces. New standards for walkway safety have been developed in the industry and SSI is committed to helping our clients maintain safe walkway surfaces that meet each of these standards. Safety is our goal. Our business model starts with a baseline audit, so that we can identify trouble areas on walkway surfaces. When necessary, we provide traction-enhancing treatments. As long as there is a need for our professional services, we will use our training and ingenuity to make your space safe.When ‘Slip and Fall’ accidents occur, there are two types of victims. The first being the person or persons who actually fall and incur injury to their person. The second is the property owner of the space where the incident occurred. They will suffer financial repercussions, either directly or from their insurance carrier. The good news is that SSI can help both of these victims. With proper monitoring and maintenance, most of these accidents and the resulting injuries and possible deaths could be avoided. If the property owner is proactive, they can become aware of and remediate potential trouble spots thus avoiding lawsuits and increases in insurance premiums. Show less
