      As a Business Partnerships Manager at International SOS, my objective was to nurture and further expand our relationships with 5 core clients/partners within the insurance industry. Through better understanding their business objectives across their client sectors and analysing their clients usage of our service offering, we were able to collaborating on expanding into new markets which resulted in upsell opportunities. Developing trust was fundamental, which was achieved through excellence in customer service, meeting SLAs and understanding their market, aiding them in mitigating potential risks. Together, we supported some of the biggest companies across most countries of the world. In addition, my role included facilitating the on-boarding and integration of sales teams of the newly acquired companies. This involved assessing their internal processes, service/proposition structure and client overlap to fit them neatly into our structure. The most challenging and rewarding part of this role was working with the newly acquired teams during what felt like uncertain times to them, listening to concerns, putting them at ease and ensuring that they found their place at the International SOS family.       My main objective at GSMA was to manage the Associate membership base, where I reduced membership churn by 11% as well as renegotiating legacy contracts to full value and increased our overall number of new memberships, hitting my annual sales targets consistently. The key to my success was the creation of strategic account plans for each member. I focused on reinforcing our client relationships with multiple layers of executives, who then better understood our value offering and were happy to prioritised deeper involvement in membership activities within their organisations. This ultimately drove a deeper commitment to the GSMA programmes and resulted in improved membership value year on year.In addition to this, I supported the wider GSMA team in managing events such as Mobile World Congress, Mobile Asia Expo, and other smaller events.       As the Partnership Director for the Account Management department of a start-up, my goal was to spearheaded various strategic initiatives to optimise operations, bolster revenue generation and uplift the team within my department.Fundamental processes such as a robust pipeline management and forecasting tool, as well as a complete and easy to use CRM system, was required, which I was instrumental in developing. Account Management needed strategic structure, focused on bolstering reliable recurring revenues and uncovering all possible upsell opportunities. Through collaboration with the project managers and support desk team, clear account plans were created, legacy contracts were renegotiated, product offerings were reimagined, operational procedures were implemented and team members up-skilled. This resulted in a happy and productive team and an overall improvement in profitability of 142% for retainer contracts, an annual recurring revenue of £700K and over £1M in new business deals in 2023.
