  Patient Care Associate

  As a Patient Care Associate in the Thoracic Surgery ICU and stepdown at Brigham and Women's Hospital, I worked closely with the nurses and PAs to provide excellent care and help patients along their road to recovery after surgeries. I was responsible for taking vitals every four hours, walking patients, bring patients to xray and ct, monitoring blood-oxygen levels, taking blood sugars, and many other tasks. Through my time at Brigham, I learned how to support my patients physically and emotionally as they worked through extremely challenging times. Show less
