      Board Member - Human Resources

I help interpret and manage the Group Benefits plan for the daycare staff. I also take part in board decisions and support of our executive director. In my last year of this role, I developed a hiring practice for consistency in the future and we used this to hire a new ED. I continue to support her and provide guidance as I transitioned to the Chair of the board in 2019.

      Chairman Of The Board

I chair the Turtle Park and Gator Park Daycare board. Over this year, we have made decisions on the well-being of our co-operative and staff during the pandemic. We have balanced our financials with our dedication to our staff which ultimately results in the well-being of our children. I also spearheaded the hiring of our new Executive Director after many years with our prior director. I have provided ongoing support and direction over this year.
