  MTS is the sister company of Manulife Financial (http://www.manulifeglobalservices.com/Malaysia/Pages/default.aspx). Here I am leading a globally distributed team consisting of both in-house development resources (stationed at KL, Malaysia) and offshore QA resources from vendor (stationed at pune, India).My team serves the “Investment business unit” of North America division of Manulife (Both Canada and US). In times, I need to travel to our Toronto office to work with the team there to keep the communication line clear and get the first-hand experience from the business users/ analyst.I provide technical and architectural guidance to the development team, review the test scripts and make sure that all the angels are covered by the qa team. It is my responsibility to ensure that all the deliveries are rolled out timely after the proper testing was done.I have to maintain regular communication with the business users and product team to grab the requirement and make up the release backlog as well as track the development and qa effort of our in-house and vendor resources. I need to arrange meeting regularly with the product team and the dev team to make sure that all the requirements are properly understood and everyone is on the same page.
