  The Sin Chew Student Reporter Cadet involves journalism as well as organising local events.Every Wednesday on the local newspaper, student reporters would get an opportunity to have their articles published, be it about local news or a thematic topic that involved various interviewees.Large scale activities would also be held quarterly to target local high school students with the objective of gathering them together in order to engage in either intellectual or social events.
