Review and approval of drawings to ensure that drawings meet applicable codes and standards. Obtain red line changes from owners, make adjustments to designs as needed, and turn over final product including plans, drawings, and program documents. Materials Manager: Responsible for maintaining nuclear gauge license as R.S.O. Perform site investigations for pre-bid; estimation, planning and bidding; purchase lab equipment and schedule calibration for equipment, troubleshoot problems with materials, create mix designs for projects, trouble-shoot crushing setups, hot plants and mix designs and correcting problems, setting and maintaining rolling patterns to ensure proper density requirements, supervise pipe crews, backfill crews, grading crews, footing crews, traffic control crews, milling crews, curb and gutter crews, paving crews and lab crews, and all reporting in order to obtain payment, reconciliation of quantities with owners. The project was a two hundred million dollar ground up construction for Chevron Mid-Continent.• Used my specific skills and comprehensive training to set goals and objectives for the entire site, including morning safety talks, creating a culture of safety that is unprecedented in the construction industry. • The site has had an average of 800 personnel on site daily for a six to 7-day work week and exceeded one million man-hours with no lost time incidents and only two recordables.
