  Converted the company revenue application from 1032 to a DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation) "Rally" online application with COBOL update and reporting system and a Digital RDB database. The system went online in 1990 and lasted until 2011 when it was converted to Oracle PL/SQL with a WebLogic front end. Programmed a Project Status Report application using Rally and COBOL to allow project managers to update project Estimated Cost at Completion, out of scope or contract extensions, and was used to help calculate revenue. Work as part of a team to create an Oracle Resource Manager tool that help RMs assign workload to available employees. This tool ran on Windows 95 using an Oracle 8 PC running on Oracle Forms 2 and Oracle Reports 3. Show less

Also worked with CDM developers to create an Oracle database repository for the Christian Science Church membership.• Worked as a DBA consultant with Bryant College in RI to set up a working eBusiness Suite system to be used by students in a financial course.   Managed high volume databases within a clustered physical Unix/Linux environment using HP Unix and Red Hat Linux database and application tiers for Oracle 8, 9, 10, and 11 databases. Managed high volume databases within a clustered active/passive Microsoft Windows virtual environment using SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008R2, 2012, and 2014. Installed and managed Oracle Primavera P6 version 8.36 and 15.1 and Oracle Gateway on a Microsoft Windows 2012 server with an Oracle 11 database on Linux. Installed and managed Subversion Edge by CollabNet on a Red Hat Linux system which is a software repository used by the development staff to update and track software updates by version number from their PCs to a central repository on the Linux server using an Apache interface and authenticating access through LDAP. Installed and managed Oracle Weblogic applications including Deltek Time and Expense and custom WebLogic applications. As part of configuring disaster recovery in Lync 2013, set up SQL Server 2012 R2 instances with SQL Mirroring on Windows 2012. Created and maintain an internal web page using Dreamweaver to create a central location where DBAs, developers, and other customers could go to find access points to development, test, and stage systems along with documentation, software downloads, and known issues.
