Nov 2016 - Sept 2022My responsibilities included organizing and maintaining spreadsheets as well as the challenge websites, coordinating meetings and events, streamlining the submission process for contestants and reviewers (i.e., their point of contact), drafting and editing documents for internal and/or public use, contacting contestants with updates of the challenges and the status of their proposals, coordinating travel for all challenges including staff, contestants, subject matter experts, judges, and first responders. I also maintained the registration for all challenges, organized and reported participant and scoring metrics, created presentations for the challenge team with the necessary information for internal and public use, wrote and submitted the final report for NIST internal documentation, and other various tasks that arose. Nov 2020 - Jan 2022Assistant Store ManagerMy general responsibilities included opening/closing the store, verifying register funds and shrink/defective products, processing customer purchases, trade ins and returns, processing online orders and distribution, welcoming/greeting customers, assisting customers with their gaming questions and needs, setting up promotional materials and coordinating events (i.e., new game title releases), handling customer service interactions and resolving the issue to maximize customer satisfaction, training new hires, creating schedules for the staff, writing disciplinary reports, organizing and maintaining general cleanliness of the store, and assisting the general and district managers with daily and other general tasks that arose. Please note I was a key holder starting November 2020 then was promoted to Assistant Store Leader in May 2021. In terms of my sales, I consistently achieved the company goal, if not exceeded it, on a weekly basis. My month, quarter, and year to date numbers all exceeded the company goal by a significant margin. For example, my membership sign up goal was 15% and my last quarterly (Q3) was 23.86%, with my year to date being 22.64%. In addition, I was one of the top performers, if not the top performer, of my staff, regardless of my position.
