  My responsibilities included organizing and maintaining spreadsheets as well as the challenge websites, coordinating meetings and events, streamlining the submission process for contestants and reviewers (i.e., their point of contact), drafting and editing documents for internal and/or public use, contacting contestants with updates of the challenges and the status of their proposals, coordinating travel for all challenges including staff, contestants, subject matter experts, judges, and first responders. I also maintained the registration for all challenges, organized and reported participant and scoring metrics, created presentations for the challenge team with the necessary information for internal and public use, wrote and submitted the final report for NIST internal documentation, and other various tasks that arose.   Assistant Store Manager

  My general responsibilities included opening/closing the store, verifying register funds and shrink/defective products, processing customer purchases, trade ins and returns, processing online orders and distribution, welcoming/greeting customers, assisting customers with their gaming questions and needs, setting up promotional materials and coordinating events (i.e., new game title releases), handling customer service interactions and resolving the issue to maximize customer satisfaction, training new hires, creating schedules for the staff, writing disciplinary reports, organizing and maintaining general cleanliness of the store, and assisting the general and district managers with daily and other general tasks that arose. Please note I was a key holder starting November 2020 then was promoted to Assistant Store Leader in May 2021. In terms of my sales, I consistently achieved the company goal, if not exceeded it, on a weekly basis. My month, quarter, and year to date numbers all exceeded the company goal by a significant margin. For example, my membership sign up goal was 15% and my last quarterly (Q3) was 23.86%, with my year to date being 22.64%. In addition, I was one of the top performers, if not the top performer, of my staff, regardless of my position. For example, in my first month of working for GameStop I was half of the store’s sales for that month. Show less

  Project Coordinator

  I coordinate the DTC and MaDE programs for Segal, including communication, budgeting, clerical, purchasing, outreach assistance, maintaining the programs’ websites, creating guidance for students, faculty, and staff, as well as assisting the programs’ directors with any other tasks that may arise. > For DTC this includes: networking and sourcing projects, soliciting projects three times in the academic year, being a point of contact for project partners, reviewing and approving proposals, notifying project partners of their proposal status, coordinating faculty and partners, assisting students with project needs, coordinating Lyft for faculty, staff, and students, creating guidance for students, faculty, and staff, coordinating the DTC Project Expo twice a year, and maintaining classroom accessibility. > For MaDE this includes: coordinating yearly events (i.e., networking event, Iron Pour, graduation, Advisory Board meetings), creating guidance for the Advisory Board, and assisting the director in strategizing methods and program evaluation to improve the MaDE program in its faculty and student experiences through its advisory board, curriculum, events, and feedback from MaDE’s stakeholders. In addition, I project manage the MaDE program’s reaccreditation cycle from ABET, which includes inter-departmental outreach and coordination, program assessment and evaluation, and general project management.
