  In 1996 I was appointed to the San Bruno City Council and enjoyed an active and rewarding tenure for nearly 22 years. I am very proud to have been a part of a proactive Council and City staff that has made great strides in improving life in a community of 42,000 residents, while dealing with numerous challenges.
