  Two very special projects which provided a very interesting and exciting period of my career.The Backlog Maintenance project with Railtrack resulted in the following scheme works;Refurbishment of toilets/overbridges/undercroft steelwork.Train Shed roof removal/replacement including existing steel structure treatment of lead paint application/repaint.Re-construction of platforms/new lighting scheme.Lifts recladded with linings/asbestos removed.Overbridge reclad/resurfaced.Undercroft refurbishments/repairs/cleaning/drainage works.Role included interface communication.Liaison with train operating companies/metrolink.All works undertaken in a "live" environment using possessions/isolations to erect access scaffolding over lines.Responsible for scaffolding package/design production/issue and review by client/erection during night shift.Managed packages led by Laing team-Blasting/Painting/Roof replacement with planar glazing/Kalzip roof system.Responsible person for Method Statement/Risk assessment compilation across the project.Client interface manager and accountable for access logistical measures in all packages .Communication of weekly programme intent/meeting with TOCS to agree implementation of. Also to resolve clash/risk issues.The Station Regeneration Project followed-on from the Backlog Maintenance scheme as follows;Provision of temporary facilities,Demolition of the existing facilities in a sequencial programme of rebuilding.Structural Steelwork/Concrete sub/superstructure new build to Concourse/Infrastructures.New car parking and Refurbishment of listed structures to retained properties.Planning/Design of new travellator to service satellite building to link services Overbridge/Platforms 13/14.New service road improvements to main entrancesAppointed Person [Lifting Operations] all mobile/tower cranes on the project.New adjacent car parking facility/link constructiuon, Show less
