      As a building engineer, I am responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects within budget and on schedule. I manage contract and ad-hoc staff on-site, prepare safety permits and documents, and coordinate various trades to ensure smooth project execution. My strategic planning ensures that resources are maximized, and losses are minimized.Some of my notable projects include a new Marine Science Lab for the University of Portsmouth worth £3M, where I conducted value engineering surveys to identify client needs and cost-saving opportunities. This resulted in a £3,000 saving on sub-structure works.In the £4M New Science Block for Portsmouth Grammar School under the BSF School Framework, I collaborated with the project manager and client representative to address design, contractual, and commercial issues.
