  everyglobe develops innovative technologies that solve challenges in the online travel market.As co-founder of everyglobe, I built a diversified team and drove it to great performance getting from our visions and ideas to prototypes, MVPs and the final products while taking into account the needs and requirements of all stakeholders including the user, the customer, UX-design, marketing and sales. I was responsible and/or involved for/in product management and development, leading the tech team, the company's strategic outlook, HR, marketing, sales, business development and fundraising.We developed the next generation of online travel agencies that provide: advice, recommendations, planning and booking. Backed by a great team, we developed a fully fledged online travel agency, focussed on trip planning, with direct booking capabilities for flights, hotels and rental cars. Based on scientific research on a travellers behaviour and the factors that shape his decisions, we conceptualised, designed and realised - to our knowledge - the first destination and content recommendation engine that uses a traveller's psychographic profile as input. We aggregate, normalise and enhance public, and private destination information to build destination profiles that fit a traveller's state of mind. I was an invited speaker at the Phocuswright Travel Innovation Summit 2015 to present everyglobe’s innovative approach to destination and content recommendations.Everyglobe's price comparison technology aggregates pricing information from online travel agencies and the hotels direct price. The pricing information is shown on a hotel's website and proved to increase direct bookings by 30%. The crawling service takes into account a multitude of factors to extract highly accurate prices. With thousands of impressions every day, we generate millions of data points of which we generate extensive reports for our customers. Show less
