This involved a variety of different projects with local communities and conservation groups. In the same year I volunteered with the Grand Canyon Green Corps, raising awareness of green issues in USA schools.I have continued to volunteer in the UK with the British Trust of Conservation Volunteers.   One year secondment to scope out how the Richmond Group and Sport England can work together to get more people with long term conditions active through sport.Project deliverables are;• Map existing work and approaches to promoting physical activity across the Richmond Group and partners. • Undertake an external audit identifying key stakeholders, levers for change and barriers to action.• Identify opportunities and potential partnerships to promote sports and physical activity agenda in policy and practice. • Draw together existing evidence base and service evaluations to identify ‘what works’ and any gaps in knowledge/evidence. • Develop proposals for an evidence based work programme that meet the joint strategic aims and objectives of the Richmond Group and Sports England.• Develop and manage collaborative workings with leads from across the Richmond Group, Sports England and key external partners.   Working in the grants team at the Rothschild Foundation, I am responsible for various elements of the organisation's grant making. I lead on sustainable food systems, one of the strategic priorities in Buckinghamshire. Other areas include smaller community grants in Buckinghamshire, prioritising organisations tackling poverty and homelessness. I am key contact for the Schools Access Fund and the charity of the year partnership.
