  I manage all incoming short programmes for international students, including the Undergraduate International Summer School, Centre for Japanese Studies Summer Programmes, customised residential programmes and taster days. Key focuses of my role are the development, marketing and preparation of programmes, liaison with key stakeholders, customers and internal staff, and the line management of junior staff and student ambassadors. I was the lead for the International Summer School and coordinated all aspects of short term residential programmes for international students; including publicity, enquiry handling and programme management. International recruitment travel was an important part of my role which allowed me to meet with partners, potential students and UEA alumni. I also organised on-campus events for key stakeholders, students and potential partners to raise reputation and build relationships. Working in the International Summer School Team I was responsible for all aspects of short term residential programmes for international students. Key duties included creating and distributing publicity, enquiry handling, programme management and pastoral care. I also organised on-campus events and residential programmes for key international stakeholders, students and potential partners. I was seconded to help prepare the UEA South East Asia office in Malaysia for the official opening and organise an event for Malaysian alumni and key stakeholders. This role also included recruitment travel to other countries within South East Asia combined with office administration work. This role in the International Office Support Team was involved with the administration of recruitment staff activities; including freight handling, dealing with international agent or student enquiries and processing applications. I was also responsible for a team of 30 International Ambassadors including their recruitment and training, as well as all finance tasks for the department.
