  Served as EHS Coordinator at two subsidiaries of Weir Minerals North America. First at Lewis Pumps, St Louis Missouri and subsequently Delta Industrial, Niles Michigan. At Delta Industrial, I successfully built up an EHS program in compliance with OSHA, Michigan state and corporate EHS standards. I developed a training matrix, conducted hazard assessment and developed job safety assessment for all activities in the shop. I worked alongside the operations team to ensure that all machines were brought up to appropriate machine guarding standards. I was also successful in working with employees to improve the overall safety culture in the organization and reduce the incidence rate. At Lewis Pumps, St Louis, Missouri, along with implementing developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures, I also helped with the implementation of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 management systems and conducted successful audits to ensure recertification. As part of the EHS team, we were able to maintain a record of 4 years without a lost-time incident. Show less
