      Gold Medallist of International Genetically Engineered Machine (iGEM) Competition Massachusetts Institute of Technology Nov 2014 + Participated in a team of twelve representing CityU from Hong Kong under the supervision by Dr Richard Y.C. KONG, Dr Terrance C.K. LAU and Dr David S.K. CHIU+ Developed a novel genetic solution to encounter obesity by introducing fadL & fadD genes with desaturase genes into recombinant E.coli to facilitate the uptake of saturated fatty acids and conversion into healthy omega-3 products.
