      I worked as an Office Cadet in the Exeter University Officer Training Corps alongside my University studies. Having undergone training that follows the syllabus taught at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Reservist Officer Commissioning Course, I honed my teamwork, organisational and leadership skills. I completed both Modules Alpha and Brava during my first two years, and during my third year I undertook the role of a Platoon Commander. This role meant that I was the senior leader of a team of 30+, with responsibilities including; meeting the challenging objectives of the training programme, welfare management, career advice/supervision, event organising and ensuring that each individual in the platoon is developing the necessary skills required for the course and wider organisations.
