Additionally the role provides the procurement branch of Land Forces with assistance in evaluating tenders and improving upon current contracts for new fuel equipment. Highlights include, planning and then leading fuel infrastructure decommissioning in Afghanistan the project total value was £4m, and twice leading the annual £3M MOD fuel exercise overseas. Show less Lead for the construction line of effort to deliver a £42M hospital development in 3 weeks at the SEC in Glasgow. The hospital was to act as a surge hospital for Scotland during C-19 outbreak in Feb 2020. My role was to provide direction and leadership to the construction workstrand as well as integrating the construction line of effort with other NHS lines of effort (workforce, procurement, training, IT ect.) to provide the fastest possible operational hospital. The role involved working closely with all key stakeholders; NHS Health Facilities Scotland, Construction contractors and Design teams to ensure that the project completed on time, to the right level of safety and end user usability. One team focused on manufacturing planning and optimised in week scheduling to ensure that customer experience and manufacturing efficiency are achieved and another team that controls the raw material inventory required to achieve raw material viabilityI am directly responsible for the inventory associated with both the raw material and finished goods as well as being the link for the manufacturing plant into the the wider Thermofisher Scientific supply chain. Translating the demand planning and regions / business unit needs into a manufacturing plan. Typically the scale of inventory is ~$15M Finished goods and ~$20M Raw Material.2022 Highlights. Raised on-time delivery metrics 25% in 3 Q's (Q2-Q4), from 60-85%.2023 Highlights. Reduced inventory (Raw Material + Finished Goods) by 35% whilst continuing to increase on-time delivery metrics by +10%. (85%-95%). Show less
