  I was employed to work on a large property database reconciliation contract and also assisted with a variety of professional services including valuations, Land Registry data analysis and cross compliance advice.

  Rural practice surveyor

  I was a Graduate, and then Chartered, Rural Surveyor based out of Rendells’ Chagford office, responsible for dealing with any enquiries for professional services and for providing advice to clients in relation to all aspects of rural practice. I was also responsible for assisting the partner in charge of the Rural Department and provided cover for the Residential Department when required. Rendells is a regional firm of Auctioneers, Valuers, Surveyors and Estate Agents. While at the firm, I gained extensive experience in all aspects of rural practice and particular specialism in:- valuation of rural property- rural planning- agricultural subsidies and environmental schemes- land and farm agency- agricultural landlord and tenantI was also involved in farm sales, livestock markets, residential agency and compulsory purchase and utility schemes.My time at Rendells gave me a firm grounding in rural practice, providing the necessary experience to pass my RICS APC and CAAV examinations, while at the same time providing me with over five highly rewarding years working with wonderful people, both colleagues and clients.
