      This internship supported me in fulfilling my graduate research and in assisting with the implementation and expansion of the Land2Lab project, an intergenerational land-based Mi’kmaw food project which aims to share Mi’kmaw food knowledge and practices with youth. This internship opportunity was funded by Mitacs, which is a non-profit organization that powers research & development by connecting industry with post-secondary institutions and student research.
