Also, the sites are used for training graduate and undergraduate nursing students who are supervised by nursing faculty, volunteer physicians, and nurse practitioners. This allows the students to experience and become proficient in providing healthcare to vulnerable and underserved populations in our community while providing high-quality healthcare to people who would otherwise not receive any healthcare.
