There are currently five clinics operating throughout San Diego County. The clinics focus on providing free care for unsheltered, uninsured, and under-insured residents. Also, the sites are used for training graduate and undergraduate nursing students who are supervised by nursing faculty, volunteer physicians, and nurse practitioners. This allows the students to experience and become proficient in providing healthcare to vulnerable and underserved populations in our community while providing high-quality healthcare to people who would otherwise not receive any healthcare. Currently, three clinics are operating throughout San Diego County, with another clinic in Pomona scheduled to open in February 2024. The clinics focus on providing free care for unsheltered, uninsured, and underinsured residents. Also, the sites train graduate and undergraduate nursing students supervised by volunteer physicians and nurse practitioners.
