  The initial phase of employment at The Mortgage King was to manage the transition from their existing Wang VS based computerized system to a Windows 3.11 LAN based system. I was heavily involved and relied upon in the design and decision process of each phase.   A large software house of 32 full-time developers creating bespoke and product based software. Bespoke development around office automation, Access and SQL Server. Also VB6, VB.NET Beta 1 & 2. Bespoke software was developed for Shell N.Z, Solid Energy, NZ Army and many other corporate companies. The main product being sold was named Coherent (a CRM System) which was being further developed by a large number of the team, including myself.I was responsible for a number of smaller projects reporting directly to the Technical Director. I was employed initially for the development of a data collection application for Shell N.Z (Access 2000)I was also required to add enhancements and bug fix an application used by the Solid Energy coal companies. This application gave Key Performance Indicators on coal production (Excel).   A small software house of 4 full-time developers creating custom mobile applications for PDA’s and the initial development and enhancement of the Turners Car Auctions Management System. Clients have included ECAN, Pickles Auctions (Australia), Motex Australia and Automobile Association (NZ) .I was one of several developers who developed the Turners Auctions Auction Management System. I was required to troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues, analyse SQL database profile snapshots, query plans and optimize indexing and statistics. I also helped develop and support the Client/Server tiers and Windows Services all coded in C# .I was an integral part of the initial development team that developed the largest software project NetResult had at the time completed (TAMS). I developed the Remote Auctions Download module based on the architectural requirements. This module allowed Turners to perform disconnected remote auctions throughout the country and synchronise again with the central site database.I developed the Synchronisation Engine. I was also required to develop the client side interface to communicate with PPSR for the retrieval of securities associated with motor vehicles and general goods.
