      Crew Rostering Manager (CRM)The Crew Rostering Manager (CRM) derives their responsibility from the Head of Crew Planning (HCP) and is specifically responsible for:- Crew planning dept made up of 4 teams reaching a head count of 27 staff who ensure the production of optimised rosters for pilots and cabin crew which are compliant with CAA requirements, company scheduling agreements and agreed timescales. The effective rostering,operational delivery and documentation of all pilot and cabin crew training requirements in accordance with regulatory compliance and company requirements. Rostering management of all non-flying activity for pilots and cabin crew ensuring optimised, efficient compliant rosters whilst effectively delivering Stakeholders requirements. Rostering all pilot and cabin crew annual leave and guaranteed days off requirements in accordance with company agreements, legal requirements and agreed timescales.Driving continuous improvement and innovation across rostering processes and practices to deliver optimal productivity, optimisation across all roster activity, cost saving and revenue opportunities. Working closely with other Crew Planning Managers to ensure an integrated and collaborative approach to rostering optimisation, operational flexibility, cost saving initiatives, process analysis and improvement. Proactively liaising and working with Key Stakeholders to provide a customer centric service that meets all their rostering needs for flying, training and non-flying activities Chairing, attending and supporting union meetings as required to discuss crew rostering, build relationships, working with crew communities to understand and anticipate their needs and to enable agreements to be developed which will focus on crew productivity. Responding to cabin crew and pilot queries and feedback,actively participating in forums, providing feedback, guidance,and support whilst presenting a balanced perspective of customer service and crew planning deliverables. Attending and supporting union meetings as required to discuss crew rostering build relationships, working with customers to understand and anticipate their needs and to enable agreements to be developed which will focus on crew productivity. Providing effective communication channels, guidance material and training packages for Key Stakeholders, Pilots and Cabin Crew to enable regular feedback, influence change and support a greater understanding of crew rostering.Effectively leading,developing and managing the Crew Rostering Team to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and motivation to perform to a consistently high standard.
