  I assisted with multiple research projects in Dr. Joan Ehrenfeld's lab on wetland and community ecology, as well as David Howe's lab on amphibian ecology.   Natural Resources Manager

  As Natural Resources Manager for Friends of Princeton Open Space, I worked independently to prepare and execute forest management plans, and developed programs to educate and engage the public in environmental stewardship. In this role, I also:- designed and implemented ecological restoration projects, working with contractors and volunteers- collected natural resources data using GPS devices, ArcGIS, & Microsoft Excel- designed and lead environmental education programs for all ages- managed the organization’s website,Facebook page, and kiosk display- collected seeds and propagated plants for restoration projects- wrote grant proposals to fund stewardship work- hired, trained, and supervised summer stewardship interns- coordinated communications with our partners, including local government officials, schools & universities, community groups, and conservation organizations.   As Stewardship Coordinator, I apply my expertise in natural resource management to engage, educate, and lead communities in the care of their parks and natural lands.
