      I assisted with multiple research projects in Dr. Joan Ehrenfeld's lab on wetland and community ecology, as well as David Howe's lab on amphibian ecology. Working as a Research Assistant, I gained experience in the following tasks:- inventorying plant communities (includes identifying diverse plant species, laying transects, and locating remote plots)- measuring and recording hydrological data, including stream flow and total discharge- managing greenhouse study (care for and record seedling development)- managing research data using Microsoft Excel & Access- preparing and organizing herbarium samples- contributing to development of project methods- contributing to laboratory maintenance Show less

      As Natural Resources Manager for Friends of Princeton Open Space, I worked independently to prepare and execute forest management plans, and developed programs to educate and engage the public in environmental stewardship.
