      Key contributor to increasing College alumni participation from 8,856 donors in FY 08 to 10,259 in FY 11.Annually recruited and staffed 10 volunteer committees of 10 – 45 alumni each, including four class-based committees and the College’s 5th Reunion committee as a part of a strategy designed to increase alumni participation.Successfully closed annual gifts and multi-year pledges up to $12,500.Played a key role in developing and implementing the Class Council program in 2009, which grew to 21 active Councils and 225 volunteers by 2011.       Leadership and Management Responsibilities:• Reported to Year Up’s Chief Development Officer.• Hired dozens of staff, 9 of whom were promoted within Year Up.• Served on the National Development Leadership Team while the Development Team organized into a national fundraising model and scaled to meet a $22M increase in the fundraising need over four years.• Oversaw development staff in 8 markets across the country, guiding them in hiring, onboarding, team building, pipeline development and strategic fundraising plans.• Oversaw the strategic activities of Directors of Development and fundraising teams in 8 markets from 2016-2017. (Teams collectively responsible for securing more than $30M of investment annually.)• Lead liaison with Marketing team, ensuring strategic deployment of creative resources against fundraising priorities. Led a team of 4 to deliver dynamic quarterly fundraising campaigns and HNW stewardship content.Donor Engagement and Stewardship Responsibilities:• Built and grew centralized annual stewardship program serving more than 350 major individual and institutional investors who contributed $80M+ per year in 18+ markets across the country. • Directed activities of 8 mid-level giving officers, increasing the number of mid-level donors ($1K-$9,999) by more than 100% from 2016-2019.• Designed an individual giving society, stewarding more than $25M per year and achieving an average of 60% donor retention, including 80% retention of $10K+ donors in 2019. Grew membership by 70% in four years.• Directed strategic communications and stewardship activities to support Year Up’s Opportunity Campaign III which raised $240M of investment over 2.5 years.• Built and oversaw central strategic development communications for each donor type, level and segment. Partnered with the Alumni Relations Team to launch regular alumni fundraising campaigns.• Provided strategic guidance to the design of a recognition program for Year Up’s corporate investors.
