    • BECU

      Aug 2013 - now

As a content specialist, I wrote and edited intranet articles for BECU employees. These articles document procedures and provide information. I consulted with subject matter experts to document their procedures and related information, in order to effectively deliver accurate information to employees. I worked to establish and reinforce writing and formatting style and strategy for consistency in InfoPoint content development. I assumed a leadership role in ensuring quality and consistency in knowledgebase content writing standards and alignment with the developing content strategy.I also managed forms production and deployment. When forms management was transferred to the Knowledge Management department in early 2014, I learned the process from the business unit that had previously managed forms. After acquiring an understanding of the process, I used my knowledge of page layout design and usability principles to assess, document, and manage BECU forms production and deployment. I reinforced these standards to coordinate with Compliance, Marketing, and Records requirements. I analyzed and identified risks and closed gaps in version history, source versioning, and archiving.Using Business Process Management principles to evaluate the process. I compiled a managed BECU forms inventory that captured stakeholders, deployment channels, form identification, functionality, related systems, and related procedures for the first time in one location. This inventory list is used to migrate forms management to SharePoint and the metadata will shore up business process documentation with regulatory and audit expectations.I have standardized a forms layout design that includes identification number, current revision date, and BECU logo.I worked with key stakeholders to design a process for a library of Marketing-approved, secure letter templates for employee use that reinforce the brand and improve the quality of member communications.
