Bespoke calculations, 3D Models and Cycle analysis of rotating equipment.Thomas Heatherwick / Zandra Rhoades (Fashion and Textile Museum) - Minimal intrusion animatronics for the inaugural exhibition, I had to design independently moving mannequins to display designer dresses in the best way possible.       As part of an industrial liaison programme I am responsible for implementing modern design philosophy in traditional manufacturing and engineering companies in the North West. This involves both initial implementation of design work in a new, re-usable format and educating engineers about recent advances in CAD and design. The objective of this was save many man hours for a design office and lead to higher productivity with more products Right First Time.More specific involvements have aided companies designing products such as Medical Dosing Systems to ISO13485 and ISO14969, retrofitted material handling systems on vehicles and commercial fleet, Infra-red remote controls, and GPS personal tracker systems.
