  4th of August a disaster struck Beirut the capital of Lebanon, a gigantic explosion centered at the port damaged more than 2000+ houses. Many NGOs began emergency relief aid for these houses and many volunteered. Started as a volunteer then eventually contracted as a project manager with the “Irshad Islah Beneficent Association” as part of the relief and repair project for Beirut after the explosion in the 4th of August of 2020. The part of the project managed included the maintenance and repair of 700+ houses in Beirut damaged by the explosion. Tasks involved scheduling, documentation, and supervision over 6 different subcontractors as they repaired glass, aluminum, concrete, wood, false ceilings, and paint in most cases. Show less
