      The business consulting company's main clients included some of the biggest companies in Finland, in regards of sales revenue. My first role in the company was conduct company and business analyses in various fields, and use those analyses in order to draw conclusions on significant changes, needs, challenges or opportunities within those companies or fields. I would then use those conclusions to create and execute B2B sales campaigns on the targeted companies, after doing the necessary search on the key contact persons, who were typically business development managers, sometimes even CEO´s. My success rate on landing the meetings was very high, and we were able to achieve several new clients. I also carried out business and company analyses, ordered by our client companies. Some of the research was very thorough, and included interviewing the representatives of all the major players within the field. One such research was about the Finnish taxi business, which was ordered by a client company, who was developing a mobile phone application for the taxi industry.       The company wanted to introduce a new product in the Finnish travel market - active sports holidays in France, led by the French travel company UCPA. I started off with developing the company's web site and the sales channel, by conducting a usability analysis of the company's existing purchase process available for the B2C clients. As a result of the analysis, we made alterations to facilitate the purchase process, and I edited the product texts on the website, so that they were more easily readable, straight to point and SEO friendly. After the initial work, I made a market analysis of potential B2B customers in Finland, followed by key decision maker identification. Following the analysis, I made a marketing plan, which included digital, social media marketing and community influencing in the B2C market, and direct marketing to previously identified B2B decision makers. Within a year, I managed to streamline the website and webshop, create awareness in the target B2C customer group, and contact all key decision makers in the B2B field, building interest in our product and business model, which was brand new in Finland at the time. Between 2020 and 2022, the company´s revenue grew 40% and I contributed to this by closing new distribution deals, for example for South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, France, Germany Spain and Greece. I also contributed to the sales figures in the form of product development. The company launched a product for the urban outdoor market, based on my market research and concept. I participated strongly in the development process of the product, and managed to get the biggest coffee company in Finland as a co-development partner. I also created the go-to-market strategy for the product. Based on my market research, the company also started R&D process for two more products. My main motivation in participating in the product development was to help launch products that meet current consumer trends, hence influencing the sales and brand growth. Based on my field work with the distributors, I also introduced the idea of creating a circular economy system for the company, which was beta tested in 2022. The motivation for the circular economy system was to solidify the company´s status as a sustainable brand, hence adding to the company´s competitiveness by being able to meet the increasing demands of the environmentally aware end-consumers also in the future.
