  Assessed preferred Pacific Walrus habitat in Alaska based on sea-ice thickness. Combined airplane tracks with GPS locations and segmented satellite RADARSAT imagery. Developed skills: GIS proficiency, imagery retrieval, teaching GIS concepts to first-time users, communicating with scientific authority figures.

Completing proposals, budget tracking, sample sites using Wetland Determination Forms, cross-section measurements and OHWM Datasheet completion, boundary delineation, report writing, and assistance with permit packages. Development, support, and QA/QC of all budget items, map production, spatial database management, licenses, equipment, and data for dozens of projects at any given time.Developed successful and cost-efficient system to allow all scientists and monitors access to review, collect, and edit spatial and non-spatial information. Data is synced to a cloud database that is then integrated into an open source mapping software where biologists can QA/QC their own data and then submit for statistical analysis and figure production for reporting purposes.
