  I work closely with the three JRF Directors to enable them to collaborate effectively and provide clear, coherent, and inspiring leadership to the wider organisation. I also provide leadership to the wider Core Team, knitting together the Executive Assistant and Delivery & Partnership Support functions, liaising with central services, and connecting to similar roles across our Scotland, Participation and Emerging Futures work. My extensive project management experience ensure I can set up project teams/work streams to deliver cross-JRF team events, new initiatives and/or develop, embed and manage efficient business processes to ensure effective running of the system as a whole. I also work proactively to embody and advance the values of equality, diversity and inclusion in our work. I'm the main point of contact and coordination between the core hub and the Governance team, managing the cycle of timely input into governance meetings and supporting the Directors to fulfil the completion of their actions and tasks. Show less JRF's mission is to inspire action and change on UK poverty and following a restructure in 2018 we now work in specialist matrix teams towards four specific outcomes. My role includes leading on project delivery support (providing project management support through matrix working), learning & iterating frequently throughout the life of a project; producing relevant reports/indicators as required along with leading on the measurement of impact and achievements; risk management and financial oversight of the budgets. I work jointly with the Business Support Manager (Internal) to ensure the provision of high quality administrative services across JRF, ensuring I have excellent relationships with Corporate Services, Finance, HR & IT colleagues. I line manage a Business Support Administrator (Outcomes). Whilst these are some of my key responsibilities, I have a number of corporate responsibilities which include being a practising Professional Workplace Coach (a partnership between ourselves and York NHS Trust enables me to coach not only staff from within JRF & JRHT but staff from York/Scarborough hospitals). I am also part of JRF's Mentoring Programme and mentor staff from across both JRF and JRHT as well as acting as an investigating officer for a number of HR investigations for our Human Resources Department. I also get involved in corporate projects – eg a huge JRF recruitment campaign following our re-structure which resulted in the recruitment of an additional 21 staff members. This involved working closely with our recruitment team (on adverts, JDs, assessment centre days), our content & marketing team (to devise a recruitment campaign), our HR team (to ensure our onboarding processes were revised and fit for purpose), our IT teams (to ensure we had the correct equipment in place across multiple sites) and our Finance team to ensure the whole campaign was brought in on budget.
