  Mental health first aid trainer and business owner

  I run courses in Mental Health First Aid for businesses, schools and churches. Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to help someone who is in a mental health crisis such as having suicidal thoughts, harming themselves, having a panic attack or in an acute psychotic state. It also teaches you how to support people with mental ill health over the longer term as they recover and get back to work or school.   The Church has so much to offer people who are struggling with mental health issues, but often does not know the best way to do this. All sorts of misunderstandings and lack of knowledge can prevent churches supporting people in the right way. We have developed course to enable churches to understand mental health from a Biblical perspective and address the needs people have in a practical and sustainable way.
