  As part of the practical, on the job training requirements of UTT's Bsc. Aircraft Maintenance and Management degree, this apprenticeship at Caribbean Airlines Ltd. was a result of a partnership between the two organizations, where in this instance was my second Industrial Attachment.I Observed and participated under certified and authorized supervisory staff at CAL's AMO facilities, in the; 1) Calibration testing, recalibration and certification processes, of aviation tools and support equipment in the Calibration Laboratory, in accordance with relevant Technical Manuals.2) Non Destructive Testing of main and nose wheel components and sub- components, of the ATR 72-600 and Boeing 737-800 aircraft, using Fluorescent Particle Inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Eddy Current Testing methods, to inspect for defects, in accordance with relevant Component Maintenance Manuals (CMM).3) Repair and inspections of Aircraft passenger seats of the ATR 72-600 aircraft, in the Safety Shop.4) Inspection and testing of Passenger Life Preservers in the Safety Shop.
