  Responsible for account management for some of the companies larger key clients who procure on bespoke flexible strategies. This involves contract advice, negotiation and renewal as well as ongoing management. This includes creation of purchasing strategies with regular reviews with the customer, market updates, trading for the wholesale energy, monthly performance reporting and budget setting. I also I take overall responsibility for our flexible baskets liaising with suppliers to ensure these run smoothly and provide the optimal service for our clients.   As Flexible Pricing Manager at Energy & Carbon Management it is my responsibility to carry out tendering and price analysis for all Individually Risk Managed flexible clients across the business. Given the size and nature of these client's energy spends, the offerings we help achieve for our clients are often bespoke and complex, but always aim to meet the needs of the business. The process may involve meeting with clients to help present and talk through the offerings. I also take responsibility for managing our Flexible Collective baskets which operate across both the private and public sector and give access to flexibly purchased strategies for clients that would otherwise be too small. This includes development of new baskets, tendering, trading, strategy management as well as maintaining the supplier relationship and operational aspects to ensure smooth delivery to the many clients within the arrangements. As part of my role I also manage the overall client relationship and/or management of the trading and risk management strategies for a number of key clients. I also help to keep both colleagues and clients up to date and informed about 3rd party industry charges, which continue to be an ever increasing portion of the total energy costs. Show less
